The DC-W Series

The DC-W adiabatic cooler series, consisting of 16 sizes, has been designed using modules of different sizes and EC Brushless fans. Thanks to the inclusion of the adiabatic section, the series is able to deliver high cooling powers, close to the ambient temperature, thus allowing considerable energy savings.

The adiabatic technology

Adiabatic technology is based on a natural principle of thermodynamics.

At the basis of the model that regulates the functioning of these systems is the phenomenon of water evaporation.

In adiabatic cooling, the honeycomb cardboard panels (150 mm), wet with water, naturally saturate the air that passes through them, allowing the temperature of the air entering the exchange coils to be reduced. The quantity of water necessary for wetting the cartons is managed by the microprocessor according to the actual needs of use.

The adiabatic systems therefore guarantee a much higher performance compared to the use of dry systems.

Frame

In its standard version, each unit is made with pre-painted galvanized steel frame. On request, functionally at the installation site, various surface treatments are available to preserve the durability of the cooler.

Heat exchange batteries

They are made with geometries suitable for the most diverse applications and temperatures, with ½” and 5/8″ tube and aluminum fins.

The two batteries are V-shaped inside the frame and divided by a partition that allows the independent use of the two rows of fans (V2 series). Each battery is tested with pressures up to 18 Bar, to ensure proper tightness.

Fans

The units are equipped with EC Brushless fans with diameters from 800 to 910 mm.

Control

Microprocessor control panel mounted on board, also available in remote version (option).
